This red beauty is a Xiali TJ7131UL, seen in the Lido area in Beijing in 2016. The good Xiali was in great shape, painted in dark red with red bumpers and mirrors. The Xiali was fitted with the original 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Check this first-generation Audi A8, seen in the parking lof of the Lido Hotel in Beijing in 2015. The old Audi looked absolutely perfect and original, super clean, painted in black, with lots of chrome and shiny alloy wheels.

Here’s an absolutely perfect Beijing Jeep Cherokee XJ 2.5E Super Space, seen in Beijing in 2015. It looked factory fresh, with super smooth paint and the original decals on the doors. The suspension is raised a little bit and the good Jeep is fitted with large off-road-style tires. These were popular modifications for the Cherokee at the time.

Here’s a BYD G3 sedan in the Chinese capital Beijing in the summer of 2023. The good G3 was in reasonable shape, with fading paint on the hood and roof, the original 10-spoke alloy wheels, and Inner Mongolia license plates.

This is the NIO ET5T, seen in the Chinese capital Beijing in the summer of 2024. The ET5T, T for Touring, is an electric station wagon, based on the NIO ET5 sedan. It is a great-looking car, especially in this pretty Aurora Green color. The slender daytime running lights are integrated into the hood, the real lights are in the bumper below.

Here’s a Shuanghuan Laiwang MPV in Beijing in the summer of 2014. The vehicle was in reasonable shape. It had seen some life! Busts on the bumpers, faded paint, and it had steel wheels instead of the factory alloys. Still, these cars are ultra rare nowadays, so seeing one in the wild is always great.

This is a cool Mercedes-Benz 230 E. I met it at a car repair market in south Beijing in 2024. The good old Benz looked great in dark blue. It had lowered suspension and was fitted with period AMG alloy wheels.
