A very beautiful Jaguar S-Type 3.0, seen at the Goldenport racetrack in Beijing. The circuit is right on the left, behind the fence. The good Jag’ was painted in dark blue, standing on sporty multispoke wheels.

The Jaguar S-Type was manufactured from 1999 until 2007. It was based on the same platform as the Lincoln LS, but costs a great deal more. The S-Type was available with various V6 and V8 engines. Our blue Beijing car has the 3.0 V6 under the bonnet, good for 243 hp and 293 Nm.
The S-Type’s retro looks were not very much appreciated at the time, but I think the design has aged very well.
A very classy interior with loads of woods and leather. Seats look a bit worn but a good cleanup can fix that easily.
One big pipe on each side, showing off some speed. But the 3.0 was by no means the fastest S, that honor was for the S-Type R which had a 390 hp supercharged 4.2 liter V8 under the bonnet.
The Jaguar X-Type was marketed in China. Only the 3.0 and the base 4.2 V8 were available. Price started at 678.000 yuan and ended at 1.03 million.
