A very sweet Toyota Camry sedan, seen on a car market in south Beijing. The good Camry was in a fine shape, clean and mean, without any rust or rot, and still on its sporty five spoke original wheels.

The interior was in a fine shape too, totally original with the faux wood nice ‘n shiny. Leather seats a little worn, but a good cleanup will fix that.
The fifth generation XV30 Toyota Camry was made from 2001 until 2006.
The XV Toyota Camry was officially sold in China as an import by Toyota, but only for a short time. Sales started in 2004 and lasted until 2007. By that year, production of the Camry had already ended, so Toyota probably made some last extra batches for the Chinese market. Local production in China of the Camry began in 2006, with the XV40 Aurion at Guangzhou-Toyota. There was just one trim level, and price was 336.800 yuan, which was actually decent for an imported car of this size and power.
The XV30 Camry was available with a 157 hp 2.4, a 192 hp 2.0, and a 225 hp 3.3. The engines were mated to a five-speed manual, a four-speed auto, or a five-speed auto. Our car has the 2.4 under the bonnet, mated to a four-speed automatic, sending horses to the front wheels.
