This little red pretty is a Ford Fiesta S, seen on a car market in south Beijing. The good old Ford was in a fine shape, with a clean body and still standing on its original five-spoke wheels.

The Ford Fiesta was the first car made by the Changan-Ford joint venture. Production started in 2003. The Fiesta S was a sporty version, it arrived in 2005.
The S-package included the aforementioned wheels, bumpers painted in body color. black window frames, and best of all: a big wing on the boot lid.
Power came from a 1.6 liter four with 91 hp and 130 Nm, mated to a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual.
Our Beijing car has the automatic ‘box. The dash is still in a very good shape with the original stereo set. the red-black steering wheel cover was factory standard but the seat covers are after-market.
Price for the Fiesta S started at 89.800 yuan and ended at 99.800 yuan. Not too much for a compact Ford sports sedan, of sorts.

The Fiesta S badge.
Darkened headlight visors and windows were standard too! Ford really tried to make something different out of the S model, and I think they succeeded.
