This little beauty is a Geely Pride HQ7130B1U, a small wagon complete with a factory roof rack and sporty wheels. The good Geely was in fine shape inside and out, and was clearly still used as a daily driver.

The Pride HQ7130B1U was based on the Geely Pride hatchback, which in turn was based on the Tianjin Xiali, which was a China made version of the second generation Daihatsu Charade.
The Pride series, called Haoqing in China, was made from 1998 until 2007. The wagon arrived in 2002. Geely also made a more dressed up variant of the wagon, called the Pride SRV. The white car we have here is the basic variant of the wagon.
The Pride HQ7130B1U was powered by a 1.3 liter four-cylinder petrol engine with 86hp and 63 Nm. The engine was mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Top speed was 145 km/h. Size: 3900/1650/1420, wheelbase was 2340.
Price in 2005 started around 35.000 yuan, and that was cheap even for the day.
Note the red cloth over the gear lever. We saw a very similar thing on the SRV. They probably did that because Geely fitted a shiny knob on the lever, just like on the handbrake. These things tend to get very hot…
That is a flat bench! Seat covers and neck pillows are after market.
It might be the base car of the wagon range, but it did have a windshield wiper.
SG was a trim level. MT5 stands for the five-speed manual. EPS stands for electric power steering.
The characters write China – Geely. All Geely’s had this badge until about 2008. Other car makers had similar badges too.
