A very pretty E92 BMW M3 coupe, seen at FB City in Beijing, in the middle between an E46 M3 and an E60 M5. Our Bimmer looks fantastic in this dark red shade, with a black roof, darkened windows, and full size wheels with matte gray alloys.
The E92 BMW M3 coupe was manufactured from 2007 until 2014. It was the first M3 coupe that was officially marketed in China, with sales starting in 2009. In that year, price for this speedy M started at 1.1 million yuan.
The E92 was powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0 liter V8 engine, good for 420 hp and 400 Nm. Horses went to the rear wheels via 7-speed DCT or a six-speed manual, like our red car has. Zero to one hundred was gone in 4.8 seconds and the unlimited top speed was 286 kilometers per hour.
The interior was in perfect shape. Center tunnel very empty, with just the iDrive controller and the stick. Carbon fiber inlay in dashboard very racy.
Bang it in second and go!
Lights a bit too large for my taste, and the spoiler is too small. Otherwise, a fine looking behind.
More on the many other beautiful cars at FB City soon.
