This blue building is a Shelby F150 700 HP, a super speedy pickup truck based on the Ford Raptor. It is simply enormous, and enormously impressive.
The Shelby F150 700 HP debuted in 2015, and only 500 units were ever made. It was available in just three colors: red, white and blue. The 5.0 liter V8 engine was tuned up to a massive 700 hp, using a gigantic 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger. Other changes on the engine include 54-pound injectors, 132 mm throttle body, a carbon fiber cold air intake, a bespoke exhaust system, and some chip tuning.

Shelby F150 700 HP was not officially sold in China, but some arrived via the gray market. In the U.S. it went for $100,000, so in China it would likely go for about double that.
But recently Shelby has opened a shop here in Beijing, so you can buy the new ones officially, and you can have the maintenance done on the older cars. More on Shelby’s new shop in another article soon.
Even at 700 horsepower it still has five seats, and that probably made it the most powerful five-seater in period.
Shelby added somewhat sportier seats, a new gear lever, and some leather patches here and there. And…
… another Shelby F150 700 HP badge.
Shelby likes them badges. On the doors, on the side bars
This machine is higher than some Chinese apartments. No kidding. It is really to big for China. The gov thinks the same thing, so most of these and similar big pickup trucks are banned from entering the city proper.
An ultra cool supercharged badge on the bulge.
There is just a single exhaust pipe, and it isn’t very big. Not really in character with the rest of the car. There should have been more pipes, bigger ones, and more shiny.
Another Shelby badge on the side of the bed.
Another Shelby badge above the license plate.
A 700 horsepower truck. Shelby does it. It is crazy. But I kinda like it…
