A super speedy E60 BMW M5 sedan, seen at FB-City in Beijing. The beastly Bimmer looked as new, inside and out. The dark silver shade looks great on the M5, and its design has aged well.
The E60 M5 was manufactured from 2005 until 2010. In China, price started at a manic 1.85 million yuan. But that money bought the fastest sedan then on the market.
The E60 was powered by a screaming 5.0 liter V10 engine, with an output of 500 hp and 520 Nm. The engine was mated to a 7-speed SMG III transmission, sending every horse to the rear wheels. Unlimited top speed was 280 km/h, and 0-100 was gone in 4.7 seconds.
AC Schnitzer alloys, with blue brake pads that nicely match…
… the seat color.
Like it rolled off the line yesterday! It even has the original M-sticker still on the dashboard.
Note the AMG 190 in the background. More on that beauty in a later post.
To the right: a red E92 M3 and a blue E46 M3.
