A beautiful brown beige Volvo C70 coupe, seen in the south of Beijing. The C70 is probably one of the best looking cars ever made; with elegant yet masculine lines.
This particular example looked a bit dusty, but it was clearly still taken care of. Oddly, it had no license plates and the headlight wipers were missing.
The Volvo C70 was made from 1996 until 2002. Sadly, I couldn’t find any engine badges on the car, so I an not sure what is under the bonnet.
The first generation Volvo C70 was officially sold in China from 2001 until 2004. They sold the coupe and the convertible. Over the years I have seen a few coupes but never a convertible. In 2004, price started at 800.000 yuan exactly for the T5 2.3 turbo model.
The interior was in good shape too, with beige leather seats and dark brown wood. Automatic gearbox.
The C70 was a four-seat coupe, not just a 2+2.
I am not sure if these alloys are original for the Volvo C70 coupe. They look like S70/V70 wheels, but they fit nicely under the C70.
A very rare Volvo in China!
