A beautiful black Cadillac Seville STS, seen on a second hand car market in Beijing, China. The big Caddy was a bit dusty but otherwise in a very good shape.
The fifth generation Cadillac Seville was made from 1998 until 2004. The STS was the most powerful variant, powered by a 4.6 liter V8 with 300 hp and 400 Nm. Gearbox was a 5-speed automatic, sending power to the… front wheels. When launched, the Seville STS was the most powerful FWD car on the world!
The interior was in great shape as well, with gray leather seats and a lot of classy wood. The steering wheel cover is after-market.
The rear bench looks a bit more worn than the front seats. Perhaps this Seville STS was a chauffeured car.
The Cadillac Seville was never officially sold in China, so they are very rare. Note the license plate frame in the license plate area, fitted to fit the larger Chinese license plates over the U.S. market space.
When bonnets were still endless…
A great American car in China.
