The fourth generation Hyundai Azera, also known as the Hyundai Grandeur, is a very stylish Korean car. I have always liked the design, very clean yet cool, simple yet elegant.
The best part is probably the area around the C-pillar, with a rounded fender line, starting at the rear door and extending all the way to the rear bumpers, crossing the rear lights. I found this perfect beige example in east Beijing on a sunny day.
The interior was very beige too, mixed with gray and dark gray trim. The fourth generation Hyundai Azera was sold in China as an import from 2006 until 2010. The Q270 model was powered by a 2.7 liter V6 engine with an output of 192 hp and 250 Nm. The engine was mated to a 5-speed automatic. Price of the Azera Q270 in 2010 started at 247.300 yuan.
Enough space for the legs.
Oh look at that line! Rear lights seem a tad too big.
The Q270 badge.
Even though it was imported, and thus expensive, the Hyundai Azera was surprisingly popular in China. The current 5th generation car is sold here as well, but that one is very rare, likely because Hyundai nowadays sells many locally-made high-end sedans.
