A pretty pink Bentley Continental GT, seen in May 2011 opposite the Opposite House hotel in the Sanlitun bar area in Beijing. I sat on a terrace across the street and there was a big bright sun, hence the somewhat un-sharp picture. Note the flyer under the door handle, which the driver hadn’t care to take away. As far as I could see the driver was a female, with long black hair and large sunglasses.
With an office worker on a small bicycle, wearing a polo shirt with almost-matching pink stripes. The Bentley was properly pinkified, with a pink body, pink door handles, and pink mirrors. The windows were clear, which is a rarity in China for such sort of car. Mostly them windows are totally black.
In 2011, a new Bentley Continental GT went for 3.5 million yuan in China, or $540.000 in that day’s exchange rate. The pink wrap likely wasn’t cheaper than a 100.000 yuan more. But worth every fen!
