A very stealthy FAW Besturn B70 sedan, seen in 2013 on a bicycle lane in my very own street in Beijing. The fine vehicle is wrapped in a very interesting carbon-fiber matte black, as if the whole body is made of carbon-fiber. The area under the bumper is made black but the alloys are standard.
The wrap neatly extends over the bumpers and mirrors. The rear lights have been darkened a bit. Strangely, the chrome around the windows hasn’t been covered, while the chrome strip on the back has. Inconsistent wrapping…
The FAW-Besturn B70 was based on the first generation Mazda 6 which was made by the FAW-Mazda joint venture. Price of the Besturn B70 started at 119.800 yuan and ended at 141.800 yuan. Engines: a Volkswagen-sourced 1.8 and Mazda-sourced 2.0 and 2.3 liter engines. The Besturn brand was renamed Bestune in 2018.
In 2013, Besturn didn’t have its own logo. They simply used the Winged One FAW logo. The owner of this example replaced that logo with a double-skull ensemble.
