China has a colorful car wrap culture. Wraps are cheap here and there are zillions of places that can do the job in no time. Over the years I have seen wraps of all color and quality. But a poop brown wrap is rare. Still, it looks rather nice on this Mercedes-Benz C-Class that I saw in Beijing in 2017.
The wrapping work was well done and the wrap was of a fine kind. The Merc’ was further dressed up with darkened windows, chromed door handles, a new black grille, black wheels, and fake Brabus badges.
The third generation W204 C-Class was the first C that was made in China by the Beijing-Benz joint venture. Production started in 2008 and ended in 2013. Price in 2008 started at 348.000 yuan for the base C 200K model. The wheelbase was the same as the European car, the L versions would only arrive with the new W205.
