A BMW 1M Coupe, seen in the Lido area in Beijing. The speedy Bimmer was all dressed up, painted in black with extra wide racing wheels, matte gold alloys, and a rare ‘666’ license plate. Six is a lucky number in China. But even more impressive is the extensive body kit.
The kit includes extra aero on the front bumper, on the rear bumper, and side skirts. Further modifications are a black grille, darkened windows, black window frames, and yellow brake calipers. A very tasty vehicle indeed! The Fatlace sticker refers to a cool-ish Californian website about cars and other cool-ish stuff.
Those wheels barely fit in their arches! The E82 BMW 1M Coupe debuted in 2011. It was powered by a 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged six-inline engine, good for 335 hp and 450 Nm. The engine was mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Unlimited speed was 280 km/h and 0-100 was gone in 4.9 seconds. Only some 6000 units were ever made. The BMW 1M Coupe was officially sold in China for the steep price of 598.000 yuan. Lot of money but loads of speed, and it is a very rare car down here, so it’s probably worth it.
