A fourth generation Ford Mustang convertible, seen parked on the road in Beijing in 2014. The ‘Stang was in a great shape, painted in yellow with darkened windows and a black top, and fitted with the original wheels.

The 4th generation Mustang was manufactured from 1994 until 2004 with a facelift in 1999. Our yellow car is a facelifted ‘New Edge’ example. The color’s name is Zinc Yellow Metallic. Power came from a 4.6 liter V8 engine with 260 hp and 409 Nm.

The fourth generation Ford Mustang was not officially sold in China but many cars arrived via the gray market and other misty channels, so it is not exactly rare. Ford started only selling the Mustang officially in 2015.

It didn’t have any badges on the back, but looking at wheels and wings it seems to be the a GT Premium trim level car. It came with a large rear wing and cool Mustang stripes over the sides.

The license plate is brilliant, with a double 8 and a double 6, both of which are lucky numbers in Chinese culture. Well, the owner of this great American sports car is certainly a lucky man.
