A Peugeot 307 SW, seen in Beijing in the great year of 2016. The car stood parked on the side of the road with its front bumper scraping the sidewalk. The Peugeot was had was a bit dusty with some bad spots on the body, but overall in a reasonable shape.
The Peugeot 307 SW was a compact station wagon made from 2002 until 2008, based on the Peugeot 307 hatchback. It was a nice looking car with an almost pretty design and some nice details like the factory standard rood rails and black colored B and C pillars.
The classy interior looked great as well, with the original black leather seats and radio-CD player. Note the unusually large air vents in the center stack.
The Peugeot 307 SW was sold as an import in China, as the market for small wagons was just too small for local production. However, the five-door version of the 307 hatchback was made locally at Dongfeng-PSA.
Peugeot only sold one version of the 307 SW in China; a fully loaded top-spec variant powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0 petrol engine. Output was 135 hp and 190 Nm. The motor was mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox, sending horses to the front wheels. Price was 239.800 yuan, which was a lot for a car of this size and kind, so the Peugeot 307 SW is a pretty rare sight.
