A nicely modified Ford Focus, seen in 2011 in the great city of Nanjing in Jiangsu Province in China. The Focus had a completely new front bumper, very wide and sporty, white wheels, darkened windows, and lots of racy decals.
The bumper came with an ‘integrated’ lip, fog lights, and winglets on the sides. The owner added a spider logo, a Type R badge, and an extra Ford logo. The license plates are of Jiangsu Province.
There is yet another Ford logo on the piece of plastic in front of the mirror. The car is painted in black which seemed the original color. The owner added white ‘flame’ decals, and ‘sport 3’ and ‘Racing Development’ stickers. Note the FAW-Audi A6 in the background.
The second generation Ford Focus was made in China from 2005 until 2011 by the Changan-Ford joint venture. It was available in five-door hatchback and four-sedan forms, powered by 1.6, 1.8, and 2.0 engines. Price started at 119.900 yuan (2011).
In 2012 it was succeeded by not one but by two cars: by the third-generation Ford Focus and by the Ford Focus Classic, which was basically a continuation of the sec-gen Focus. The Classic was sold alongside the new Focus and continued until 2014.
Lady in red selling sweets, and drinking Hongcha, has her own ideas about the modifications to the Ford Focus. I sat in a restaurant, a McDonalds, if I remember correctly, and watched the wheels.
