A Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV super car, seen in late 2019 at the Tuning Tribe tuning street in east Beijing. The great German-Italian monster is painted in ‘Rosso Mars’ and further porned up with loads of dark gray carbon and black trim.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV is the ultimate variant of the famous Aventador series. Incredibly, the Lamborghini Aventador is still with us. Production of the Aventador started 11 years ago, in 2011, and continues until today.
Over the years, Lamborghini launched more special editions and variants than men can count. A very Chinese way of milking a platform to the max. Perhaps Lamborghini learned the trick from Great Wall and BYD.
The Aventador LP 750-4 SV debuted in 2015, it was manufactured for two years only until 2017. The SV model had improved aerodynamics, upgraded suspension and steering, a 50 kilo lower curb weight, and an extra powerful variant of Lamborghini’s 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine.
Buyers could get the interior in any color they wanted. The lucky owner of this car went for a tasteful mix of dark gray alcantara and red leather, with SV logo’s on the side of the center tunnel. The interior is still a work of art but the screen and buttons clearly show the car’s old age.
The Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 SV was powered by a 6.5 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine, mated to a seven-speed automated manual gearbox, sending all horses to all four wheels. Output of the V12 is 750 hp and 690 Nm. Top speed was a totally mad 350 kilometers per hour and 0-100 was gone is only 2.8 seconds.
The Tuning Tribe is one of the best places in Beijing the spot super cars. It is a block of streets packed with high-end car dealers and tuning shops. At any day of the year you can find all sorts of speedy motors there. Location: Google, Baidu. The official name of the area is Tuning Tribe, but it is often referred to as the ‘tuning street’.
The SV had lots of added aero bits so some of the extra horses were needed to carry all that stuff around. The aero kit included a front splitter, wider side skirts, extra air vents and winglets, a diffuser, and a ultra wide fixed wing on the back. It also had four exhaust pipes.
The LP 750-4 SV was officially sold in China in coupe and roadster forms. The coupe was priced at 8.01 million yuan, which made it one of the most expensive cars on sale in China at the time.
Worth it? Well… Just look at it!
