A super shiny Range Rover SUV in China, seen in the far eastern suburbs in Beijing in December 2016. It was a cold winter’s day but the Range Rover was as warm and bright as the summer’s sun.
The wrap was of top quality and neatly applied over nearly the whole body. Some details were subtly left in gray, like the line over the lower doors and some other bits of trim. The air inlets and vents were wrapped as well. The pillars were black with darkened windows. A wrapping masterpiece. The pretty matte gray wheels were huge.
The interior was a dull compared to the outside. Nothing was changed here, so not much to see. The Range Rover was and is a very popular luxury sled in China. In 2016, price started at a hefty 1.4 million yuan and ended at a manic 3.3 million for the LWB version with the supercharged 550hp 5.0 V8.
See the subtle gray strip above the license plate. The wrappers really did some designing here. The license plate is interesting too, with an eight and two nines. Both 8 an 9 are lucky numbers in Chinese culture, with eight associated with prosperity and nine with long lasting.
With so much shiny gold in one car, the rest of the world just looks drab and dull. Can’t beat this wrap!
