A Ferrari SF90 Stradale, seen in Suzhou City iby Friend of the Site Joachim, thank you for the picture! The Italian supercar was brand new and had just arrived on the back of a yellow flatbed truck. The Ferrari was a little too long, no surprise with a front overhang of a kilometer, and the delivery driver had to level down the ramp. Hope no one got hurt.
The SF90 was attached to the truck with a simple strap holding the rear wheels, which sit partially on the ramp. Looks solid, right? The car is painted in classic Ferrari red with a black roof and black trim. The alloys are matte gray with red brake calipers.
The Ferrari SF90 Stradale debuted in 2019. It is a spectacular mid-engine PHEV with a 4.0 twin-turbocharged V8 engine mated to 3 electric motors, one located on the gearbox and one on each front wheel. Power of the V8 engines goes to the rear wheels only. Transmission is an 8-speed DCT. Total output is 986 hp and 800 Nm, good for 340 km/h and a 0-100 in 2.5 seconds. Very impressive for a car with a 1600 kg curb weight.
The SF90 Stradale launched on the Chinese supercar market in 2020 for a cool 4.98 million yuan. The open-top Spider followed in 2021 and sells for 5.1 million yuan. That’s 760.000 and 772.000 USD respectively. For all that money, Ferrari should get itself a properly sized flatbed truck!
