A beautiful Bentley Continental 4.0 GT V8, seen in 2017 in the Chinese capital Beijing. The big Bentley was painted in a fiery bright color that Bentley called ‘St James Red’, and it does look great on the car.
The Continental was a little dusty, especially at the wheels, but otherwise near perfect. It has slightly darkened windows and still has the factory alloys on. The 4.0 GT V8 model debuted in China in 2012, priced at a hefty 3.04 million yuan.
Power came from a twin-turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 engine with an output of 507 hp and 660 Nm. The motor was mated to an 8-speed automatic, sending horses to all wheels. Top speed was 303 km/h and 0-100 took just 4.8 seconds.
The second-generation Bentley Continental GT is quite common in China, but red ones are rare. Coincidentally, as I am writing this story I found an exactly the same example on a second-hand website, selling for 1.28 million with only 23.000 km on the clock. Or perhaps it is the same car!
