More car wrapping in China on this Saturday night! We continue with a Volkswagen Golf GTI, seen in Beijing in 2013. The good Golf was reworked to a rather high level; with a pink wrap, a black wrap, darkened windows, extra large tires, lowered suspension, darkened headlight visors, pink stripes in the black grille, a pink GTI badge in that grille, and a black Volkswagen logo. Lot of work went into this one!
The license plate is interesting too: 京N·ITG25, with ITG mirroring GTI. No coincidence, we suspect. The window frame and B-pillar are in black, and so is the entire roof, the antenna, and the VW logo on the back. The pipes are after-market too, round and on the far sides. The light visors are lightly darkened.
The sixth generation Volkswagen Golf was made in China by FAW-VW, but only in five-door hatchback form. The China-spec Golf GTI was powered by a turbocharged 2.0 four-pot with 200 hp and 280 Nm, good for a 235 km/h top speed and a 0-100 in 7.1 seconds. Fast for sure, but surely even faster in pink!
