A Lynk & C0 03 Pro, as seen in Beijing in 2018. The 03 is a sporty compact sedan with an interesting design. The one I met was painted black with darkened windows and dark gray alloy wheels. The license plates are from Henan province.
Lynk & Co is a Chinese car brand established in 2016. Initially, it was a convoluted joint venture between Volvo and Geely, both car makers under the Geely Holding Group. After restructuring and some more restructuring, the Lynk & Co brand is now part of the Geely Auto Group, alongside Geely (the brand), Geometry, and Proton. However, in yet another restructuring, Geometry will soon become a line under Geely (the brand). Geely Auto Group sits under the Geely Holding Group.
Lynk & Co sells seven cars in China, the Lynk & Co 01, 02, 03, 05, 06, and 09. Soon, the lineup will be enlarged with the new 08. All these cars are either ICE or PHEV. Lynk & Co does not sell any full-electric cars. In China, Lynk & Co cars are distributed via a traditional dealer network. In export markets, the brand works with an internet-based sales model.

The Lynk & Co 03 sedan debuted in 2018. It stands on the CMA platform which also underpins a wide array of Geely, Volvo, Polestar, and other Lynk & Co cars. The 03 got small updates almost every year and received a large facelift earlier this year (2023). The 03 Pro was the top-trim level in 2018.
The interior with sporty seats, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, large square air vents, and a tiny gear selector.
Decent space for the legs in the back. The 03 is a compact sedan. The 2018 model’s size was: 4657/1840/1460, with a 2730 wheelbase and a 1522 kilo curb weight.
The design of the 03 Pro is sporty, with large exhaust pipes, a subtle spoiler on the boot lid, and side skirts. It isn’t a pretty car but it sure is special. The 2018 Pro had a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine under the hood. Output was 180 hp and 265 Nm. The motor was mated to a seven-speed DCT. The 03 Pro was a front-wheel drive car. The top speed was 205 km/h and 0-100 was gone in 7.9 seconds.
The Chinese name of Lynk & Co is 领克 (Lǐngkè). The price of the 2018 Pro was 148.800 RMB.
The bumper was sexed up with a load of black plastic somewhat resembling a diffuser.
The lights on the hood are daytime running lights. The real lights are located on each side of the grille. The Lynk & Co is a special sedan and it sells relatively well in China. Strangely, it isn’t exported anywhere else. Lynk & Co currently only exports the aging 01 SUV.
