Galaxy is a new line of new energy vehicles (NEVs) under the Geely brand. Like this: Geely Group > Geely Auto > Geely (the brand) > Galaxy (the line). They love complicated corporate structures at Geely. I could write a book about it. Maybe one day I will.
The L7 is the first Galaxy car, it was launched on the Chinese car market earlier this year. The Galaxy L7 is a compact crossover SUV, closely related to the second-generation Geely Boyue L, which was launched in 2022.
The interior looks great. Chinese consumers like airy interiors, so Chinese brands mostly use light interior colors. This Galaxy L7 has a white-gray-black interior. It has 3 screens: one 10.25-inch for the instrument panel, one 13.2-inch main touch screen for the infotainment, and a huge 16.2-inch touch screen for the front passenger’s entertainment. The passenger’s screen is not really visible in my pic, check this one for a better look.
The drive-selector is mounted on the steering wheel column, so the center tunnel looks very clean. There are two cup holders, a double wireless charging pad, and a lot of storage capacity.

The Geely Galaxy L7 is a front-wheel drive PHEV. The powertrain combines a 1.5 turbo ICE with an electric motor and a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT). Combined output is 344 hp (253 kW) and 535 Nm. Top speed is 200 km/h.
Geely offers two batteries in the Galaxy L7: 9.11 kWh and 18.7 kWh. The former has an EV range of 55 km and a combined range of 1310 km. The latter has an EV range of 115 km and a combined range of 1370 km.
Characters: 吉利银河, Jílì Yínhé, Geely Galaxy. The characters on the L7 are stylish, in a modern font, and in black. The price range of the Galaxy L7 starts at 137.800 yuan and ends at 185.700 yuan ($18.8K-25.4K).
The Galaxy L7 is an interesting car. The design is cool, it has a lot of power, and it has a decent price. We bet Geely will sell a lot of them.
