More Photos Of The Pink McLaren 650S 3.8T Coupe In China With Peppa Pig

McLaren 650S

Two years ago, we had a photo of a pink McLaren 650S 3.8T Coupe on the road, but we didn’t really get a good look at it. That changes today! I saw the pink British supercar in a quiet residential area in south central Beijing.

The speedy McLaren looked great in pink. It is wrapped in a top-quality matte pink wrap with Peppa Pig on the bonnet. It also has the name Qi Jia, written in glitter, next to the nose of the cartoon character.

The McLaren is further dressed up with darkened windows, a darkened engine cover, black wheels, and cartoonish ears on the roof.  The wrap was expertly applied, covering every body panel.

The McLaren 650S supercar was made from 2014 until 2017. It was powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8 liter V8 engine with an output of 650 hp and 678 Nm. The motor was mated to a 7-speed DCT, sending horses to the rear wheels. The top speed is 333 kilometers per hour and 0-100 takes only three pink seconds. Price in China (2014) started at 3.75 million yuan. A wrap of this quality costs at least 10.000 yuan.

The Peppa Pig cartoon series was super popular in China in the 2010s. There was Peppa Pig in everything, from bicycles to toys to stationary to clothing, you name it! I had young kids so I bought a lot of Peppa Pig stuff, manufactured by all sorts of unlicensed businesses in southern China. I had never, however, seen Peppa Pig-themed wrap on a supercar.

Don’t you hate that beeping when you don’t want to wear a safety belt? Peppa Pig fixes that too.

There are stuffed animals behind the windshield, on the driver’s side.

The color was interesting. From most corners, it appeared to be matte pink. But with the light on it, it changed to a more shiny shade. Not full

The Peppa Pig pink McLaren 650S 3.8T Coupe was protected by barbed wire, which had a similar color as the alloy wheels. Well, it was great to see this now-famous car in person. Let’s hope she rides and oinks over the roads of the Chinese capital for a long time coming.
