A Chery eQ1, seen in central Beijing in 2019. The Chery eQ1 is a cool and almost cute electric mini car. Design is interesting, with enormous headlines, with blue lenses, dominating the front. The body is painted in a dual-color scheme, with the top part always in white.

A BYD F6, seen in the outskirts of Beijing in 2019. The vehicle was in a fine shape; painted in silver and just a little dusty, without any big dents or rust. The license plate is interesting, both 6 and 8 are lucky numbers in Chinese culture. So is this a lucky BYD? Q stands for company-owned car.

A JAC Shuailing T8 pickup truck, seen at a small JAC shop in east Beijing in the mid winter of 2019, with some snow on the road and and ice on the car. The massive JAC was brand new and painted in a tasty shade of cherry red.

A beautiful dark green E34 BMW 525i sedan, seen in the far outer reaches of the Chinese capital Beijing. The Bimmer stood on a sandy and dusty parking lot in front of a residential building, between all kinds of normal cars, and yet somehow it didn’t look that much out of place. The 525i seemed in a good shape and well-maintained, with a smooth body and without too big dents or bruises.
