A big and black Lexus GX470, seen in the far northeast of Beijing. The ‘GX’ name stands for Grand Crossover, according to Lexus marketing speak. That’s fine with me, but I see an off-road capable SUV based on the Land cruiser Prado, a car that nobody would call a crossover.

A super clean W126 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL. It is painted in light yellow, a typical shade for taxi’s in Germany, and it also has ultra basic wheel covers, and that is typical taxi too. And guess what? There were indeed W126 taxi’s, although I have’t been able to find a 560 SEL taxi.
