Here we have a Cadillac CTS, seen at the parking lot of a second-hand car market in the great city of Tai’an in Shandong Province in eastern China. The big American sedan was in fine shape, painted beige with darkened windows and still with the original alloy wheels.

Here we have a black Volkswagen Santana GLi sedan with black 京A license plates. I saw this great old Volkswagen in the Chinese capital Beijing in the summer of 2018. It was in good shape, clearly taken care of, with a clean body and the original 7-spoke alloy wheels. It is a time capsule, in a way.

This is a Honda Pilot SUV, I saw it in a residential area in south Beijing. The Honda SUV was in good shape, painted in Nimbus Gray Metallic with tinted windows and fitted with the original five-spoke alloy wheels.

This is a Volvo S80L, a China-only long-wheelbase variant of the Volvo S80 sedan. I met this beautiful black example in the Chinese capital Beijing. It was well-maintained and looked great for its age.

This is a Hongqi H9, a full-size luxury sedan in China. The H9 has an impressive presence on the road, with an enormous grille with 14 vertical bars. The classic Hongqi ‘red flag’ hood ornament runs from the hood over the edge into the grille.

This little pretty car is a Chery Cowin 1, parked alongside the road in 2018 in the Chinese capital Beijing. The good Cowin was in perfect shape, painted in a dark shade of red, with a shiny grille, and with the original gray wheel covers.

Nothing is better than a pink Tank on a rainy Wednesday afternoon. And here we have one! This is a Tank 300 SUV wrapped in pink, seen on a car modification market in the Chinese capital Beijing.
An almost-perfect Ford Tempo sedan, seen at a messy parking lot near a car market in Beijing in 2012. The antenna was up so the car was all right. It was painted white, with darkened windows and with the original wheel covers.

Here we have a special Audi in China. This is a C5 Audi A5 Allroad Quattro, seen in Beijing in the spring of 2017. It is the only red Allroad I have ever seen on Chinese roads and the only one with a manual gearbox. The license plate is special too with the 京Y·15995 sequence.
