About China's Coolest Cars
A pretty Y31 Nissan Cedric Brougham VIP V6, seen on the parking lot of my apartment complex in Beijing in 2010. At the time, there were three of these Nissan Cedric sedans that I regularly saw on the lot. They looked very similar and had very old license plates. This one is 京C·P1889. Earlier on I posted about another the 京C·Q0773. I will post about the third Cedric soon.

A very sweet Ferrari F430 Spider, seen in Beijing in 2015. The speedy Italian was painted in the only proper color for a Ferrari; red with a black convertible top and with five-double spoke alloy wheels.

An ultra speedy Porsche Cayenne TechArt Magnum, seen in 2013 parked in front of the gigantic China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in the great city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province.
The Magnum was the ultimate modification of the second generation Porsche Cayenne by German tuner TechArt. It came with an outrageous body kit and loads of extra horses. This particular example was painted in orange brown with a matte gray grille and matte gray alloys.

A massive Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible, seen on the Tuning Tribe tuning street in Beijing, parked in front of a Porsche GT3 4.0 and a Ferrari 812 Superfast. The big Roller was painted in dark green and fitted with gray 7-spoke alloys. A very pretty car indeed.

An enormous Chrysler 300C stretched limousine, seen in the winter of 2019 in China’s Hebei Province. The 300C was extended by at least five meters in the middle, making it the longest 300C I had ever seen.

A wonderful Audi 100 sedan, seen in the Sanlitun area in Beijing in 2011. The vehicle was parked on the pavement but in those days that was fine. The great Audi was a bit dusty and dirty but in a very good shape, and with the factory standard wheel covers still on the car.

A W140 Mercedes-Benz S600 sedan, seen in Hebei Province in China in December 2019. It was cold and there was snow, but the big Merc’ made me feel warm again. The big German machine was painted in black with shiny gold details, suspension was lowered and it stood on extra wide wheels with gold-black BBS alloys. A white Roewe W5, seen in a cold winter’s day in south Beijing. The W5 was a mid-size luxury SUV that was produced between 2011 and 2017, with a facelift in 2014. Our W5 is an original pre-facelift car. The good Roewe was in a fine shape, painted in white with the plastics intact and fitted with the factory wheels.
A BMW 728iL sedan, seen in Beijing back in 2010. The big Bimmer was in a great shape and wrapped in a tasty smurf blue wrap. An unusual choice of color for a big BMW but the result is pretty good.
The white detailing on the mirrors, air vents, and door handles is a nice idea as well. The wrapper did a great job, it looks neat and tight, almost as if it was painted in smurf blue. The beige leather interior is a good contrast with the blue exterior.
A brand new Ford Territory, seen on a cold day in Beijing in January 2020. The Ford looked nice in white but it really needs a set of larger wheels. The Ford Territory is a China-only compact SUV, launched in 2018.
