A beautiful Beijing-Jeep Cherokee XJ 2.5, seen in 2011 in Beijing. The good Cherokee was painted in beige. This was a factory color but almost nobody went for it, so beige Chinese Cherokee’s are very rare. The car was in a good shape when I met it. The gold colored alloy wheels and fog lights were standard on high-spec models.

It’s Lindsay Lohan, seen on a poster advertising a magazine in the summer of 2011 in Beijing. The summers are hot in the Chinese capital. Temperature regularly hits 35 °C and can reach 40 on steamy days. Lindsay is properly dressed for the weather, but she still seems sweaty, and seemingly can’t wait to take it all down.
A mighty Hongqi CA770 state limousine, seen in a parking garage in a northern suburb of Beijing in 2011. There were two CA770’s at the location. In this story car #1. The CA770 was covered with a thick layer of dust and dirt but otherwise in a savable condition.

A beautiful Jinbei Haise I minivan, seen in Beijing in 2017. The van appeared to be in fine condition for its age. The blue paint didn’t seem original but looked very nice on the vehicle, especially in combination with the darkened windows.

A Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670–4 SV China Limited Edition, seen in January 2011 in central Beijing, without license plate and seemingly brand new. It was a cold winter’s day but the Lamborghini was HOT. It was so loud the whole street seemed to shake, and everybody was looking at the fast Lamborghini supercar.

A majestic and super rare Nissan President limousine, seen in a small car shop in Beijing in December 2017. This shop also owned a W208 Mercedes-Benz, so they really liked their big sedans down there.

A mighty Hongqi CA770G state limousine, seen in a hutong in central Beijing back in February 2012. Sadly, the great Chinese limo was in a pretty bad shape, with rust and cracks all over. Still, in 2012 it was not beyond repair. Hongqi is a Chinese automotive brand owned by First Auto Works (FAW).

A big Cadillac DeVille stretched limousine, seen in central Beijing in 2011. The limousine belonged to a nearby wedding business. The vehicle was parked nicely on the sidewalk, protected by a traffic cone.
