The Li MEGA MPV Is The Craziest Chinese EV Ever – In The World

This bizarre machine is the Li MEGA, a giant MPV with a wild and polarizing design. Even the color names are different than elsewhere. The one that I saw is painted in Elephant Gray. The other colors are Panda White, Gray, and Silver. Two colors with a special name, and two colors without. What to make of that? Well, what to make of of the Mega?

Venucia R30 Was A Nissan March For The Chinese Car Market

This little wonder is a Venucia R30, a small five-door hatchback sold only in China. I met this white example in Beijing, it looked great, painted in white and with five ‘spoke’ wheel covers. The Venucia R30 was based on the Nissan March.

Dongfeng eπ 007 Is A New Electric Sedan For China

Here we have a Dongfeng eπ 007 litback sedan, seen in southwest Beijing in the summer. It was a brand-new car with a temporary license plate behind the windscreen. The color is called Sunny Gold (向阳金), but it looks more like silver to me.

The Chery Tiggo SQR7206T Is An Early Chinese SUV

Here we have a Chery Tiggo SUV, an early one, seen in the cold winter of 2019 in the south of the Chinese capital Beijing, parked near a small canal that runs to the Temple of Heaven. The Tiggo looked heavenly indeed, it was in perfect shape, with flawless paint, factory stickers, and with the original seven-spoke alloy wheels.

That’s a Zhongxing Admiral, a typical Chinese SUV of the early 2000s. It was painted in a vague shade of gray, with large bumpers, side bars, and shiny mirrors. It was still in use and it looked great for its years.
