A massive Mercedes-Benz G400 CDI Grand Edition, seen at the Goldenport race track in Beijing, China. It looked brilliant in black, topped with loads of shiny stuff, including tacky covers over the lights and indicators.

In mid September 2017 I found a very strange car collection, standing on the roof of a building in an old area in northeast Beijing. The building and cars were sadly in a bad shape.

This gray monster is a real Volkswagen New Beetle RSi, one of only 250 examples made, and the only one in China. I found it in October 2016 on a car-repair market in Dongba, in the far east of Beijing. The great Beetle was dirty and dusty, and apparently abandoned.
