Here we have a Daewoo Espero sedan, seen in the Dongzhimen area in Beijing in 2013. The good Daewoo was in a reasonable shape, painted in white and standing on steel wheels. It didn’t have license plates but there was an official temporarily license plate number behind the windshield (on the left on the photo).

A fine Daewoo Lanos SE sedan, seen in Beijing back in 2016. The ‘Woo was in a fine overall shape, with slightly faded paint, small dents and dusts, and fitted with the original five-spoke wheels. The license plate was as old as the car. The ‘Q’ means this was, and perhaps still is, a company owned car.

A Daewoo Lanos sedan, seem in the winter of 2019 in Wangjing Subdistrict in Beijing. The small Daewoo was in a fine shape, painted in virgin white with he original covers still on the wheels.

A black Daewoo Prince sedan, seen in the Lido area in Beijing in 2016. The big old Daewoo was in a perfect shape and totally original. It was clearly very well maintained and looked like it had been washed a day ago! This Prince was by far the best I’d ever seen in China. Most look rather sad and beaten up, but this one was just beautiful.

A super sweet Hafei Baili HFJ7090, seen in Fangzhuang District in Beijing in 2012. The good Baili was in a reasonable shape but in dire need of some love and maintenance. It was painted in an 80’s style shade of beige with gray bumpers and with steel wheels.

Here we have a red ‘n pretty Daewoo Racer STi, seen at a temple complex in Beijing in 2020. The good Daewoo was sadly in a pretty bad shape and seemed abandoned.
