An early W124 Mercedes-Benz 280E with black license plates, seen at a small car repair area in north Beijing in 2016, not far from where I found a Volvo 960 sedan. The good Mercedes was in dire need of a good cleanup bit in a great overall shape, fitted with the ultra cool wheel covers that were especially designed for the W124.

A pink Mercedes-Benz C260 sedan, seen at a car shop in north Beijing in 2016. The Merc’ was wrapped in a shiny pink wrap, sucking all the sun out of that chilly spring day. The car was further sexed up with a black grille, darkened light visors, darkened windows, and shiny chrome mirrors.

A super cool Mercedes-Benz E280 sedan, seen on a car market in the Chinese capital Beijing. The great Benz had an AMG body kit, AMG wheels, and an old blue 京A license plate. It was in a reasonable shape for its years, dusty with some busts, painted in a nice and shiny silver shade.

A beautiful Mercedes-Benz 280E was spotted in China in the Wangjing District in northeast Beijing in 2015. The Benz was in perfect shape, with paint almost factory fresh and fitted with the original wheel covers. It also has very early 川A license plates.

A pretty Mercedes-Benz AMG G55 SUV, seen in Beijing in winter 2019. The good Mercedes was fitted with a vast Hamann body kit and with a set of classy HRE wheels. The body was painted in blue with darkened windows and black-shiny trim. The resulting result is certainly impressive.

A Mercedes-Benz TN 410 minibus, seen in Hebei Province east of the Chinese capital Beijing, fitted with yellow Shandong Province license plates. The TN was used for storage and it was in a pretty sad shape. Still, it was a great find because the TN is ultra rare in China.

A W140 Mercedes-Benz S600 sedan, seen in Hebei Province in China in December 2019. It was cold and there was snow, but the big Merc’ made me feel warm again. The big German machine was painted in black with shiny gold details, suspension was lowered and it stood on extra wide wheels with gold-black BBS alloys. A very special find! This is a rare Mercedes-Benz W124 E-Class stretched limousine, with six doors and painted in a wine red shade. The black 京·04405 license plate is very old and very rare.
