A pretty Lexus GS300, seen in the Chinese capital Beijing in 2016. The good Lexus looked great for its years. The dark black paint looked almost as new, and it was still fitted with the original gray six-spoke alloy wheels.

Neta U Is One Of Those Fancy New Chinese Electric Crossovers

Here we have a Neta U, a cool Chinese full-electric crossover, fitted with green NEV license plates. NEV stands for New Energy Vehicle, a Chinese vehicle category that includes EVs, PHEVs & EREVs, and FCEVs. The car that I saw is painted in a color called (translated): Star Diamond Phantom Powder. Chinese car makers love to outdo one another when it comes to poetic color names. This must be one of the best. I’d simply call it light purple. But for sure, Star Diamond Phantom Powder is much better.

This is a Jetta VS7, a mid-size crossover SUV that is only sold in China. It is a nice-looking car, but not overly exciting, perhaps a bit boring. The car that I met was painted in a color called (translated) Aromatherapy Ash.

Hongqi HS7 45TD Is A Classy V6-powered Seven-seat Chinese SUV

This is the Hongqi HS7, a large Chinese SUV. The HS7 is an impressive car, with an enormous grille with a lot of shine. The typical Hongqi hood ornament runs over the hood and into the center slat of the grille. The car that I met was painted in Hongqi black, with dark windows and gray wheels.

A Pretty Dark Blue Lexus LS400 Sedan In China

Here we have a Lexus LS400, seen in the Chinese capital Beijing in 2016. The sophisticated Japanese sedan is in good shape for its age, painted in a classy color called ‘Dark Blue Pearl’. The windows are not tinted or darkened for a change, and the car still has its original alloy wheels.

Jeep Commander Is A Big American SUV In China

This is a Jeep Commander, seen in the east of the Chinese capital Beijing in 2016. The big Jeep looked great with a shipload of dust on it. Every Jeep should be covered with mud and dust and dirt. What, otherwise, is a Jeep for? The Commander was in a fine shape, painted in an army-style dark green with a shiny grille, simple five-spoke wheels, and a roof rack.
