A pretty first generation Lexus LS400 sedan, seen on the parking lot of the Lido Hotel in Beijing. The good Lexus was a little dusty but otherwise in a fine shape, painted in silver and gray with gray wheels and black license plates.

A beautiful Mercedes-Benz 280E was spotted in China in the Wangjing District in northeast Beijing in 2015. The Benz was in perfect shape, with paint almost factory fresh and fitted with the original wheel covers. It also has very early 川A license plates.

A battered dark blue Dodge RAM 350 Wagon, seen in China’s Hebei Province in the winter of 2019. The Dodge was in a pretty sad shape and seemingly abandoned, but not totally dead yet, with a bit of work it might ride the roads again.

An ultra speedy Porsche Cayenne TechArt Magnum, seen in 2013 parked in front of the gigantic China Import and Export Fair Pazhou Complex in the great city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province.
The Magnum was the ultimate modification of the second generation Porsche Cayenne by German tuner TechArt. It came with an outrageous body kit and loads of extra horses. This particular example was painted in orange brown with a matte gray grille and matte gray alloys.

A massive Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible, seen on the Tuning Tribe tuning street in Beijing, parked in front of a Porsche GT3 4.0 and a Ferrari 812 Superfast. The big Roller was painted in dark green and fitted with gray 7-spoke alloys. A very pretty car indeed.

A very early Landwind X9 SUV, seen in the great city of Zhuhai in China’s Guangdong Province. The good Landwind was in a fine shape, painted in dark red and fitted with lots of factory and non-factory extra’s.
A pretty Mercedes-Benz AMG G55 SUV, seen in Beijing in winter 2019. The good Mercedes was fitted with a vast Hamann body kit and with a set of classy HRE wheels. The body was painted in blue with darkened windows and black-shiny trim. The resulting result is certainly impressive.

A BAW Beijing Brave Warrior pickup truck, seen at the Tuning Tribe tuning street in Beijing in winter 2019. Happily, the car was totally stock standard and that is okay because it can’t get any cooler anyway.
Back in 2004 Geely was still a new and tiny Chinese automaker. They basically had one platform and used that to develop a rather amazing series of different cars. On the first photo a pristine Geely Haoqing hatchback.
The Haoqing, also known as HQ, was based on the Tianjin Xiali, which in turn was based on the Daihatsu Charade. The Geely Haoqing debuted in 1998 and was made until 2006. Power came from a 53 hp 0.9 liter three-cylinder petrol engine, made in China but originally developed by Daihatsu.
