A mellow yellow Geely Meirenbao, seen late at day in Beijing. The sporty Gee’ was in a good shape inside and out, and still standing on its original wheels. It is rare to see a near-standard Meirenbao, as many were modified.

There was a time when Great Wall made other cars than just a bunch of SUVs that all lookalike. One of these cars was the Great Wall Florid, a compact hatchback. They also made a cross version of the Florid, and that is the car we have here today.

This is a First Auto Works Jiabao CA63601A1, a cool Chinese microvan. In China this kind of vehicles are called mianbaoche, literally bread car, because their shape resembles a loaf of bread.

This is the Beijing Auto BJ40 Plus, seen at a dealer in Tai’an. The BJ40 Plus is a high end variant of the Beijing Auto BJ40 L. Design is heavily inspired by the Jeep Wrangler, but it looks kind of cool.

A Korean Domestic Market (KDM) Kia Optima sedan, seen in the great city of Tai’an in Shandong Province. The good Kia was a bit dirty, but otherwise in a fine shape.
A slightly overloaded blue JAC truck, seen on the eastern section of the mighty Fifth Ring Road in the Chinese capital Beijing. The truck is carrying all sorts of plastic stuff bound for recycling.

This gray monster is a real Volkswagen New Beetle RSi, one of only 250 examples made, and the only one in China. I found it in October 2016 on a car-repair market in Dongba, in the far east of Beijing. The great Beetle was dirty and dusty, and apparently abandoned.

The Fortune Mall is a high end shopping mall/office tower/apartment building in Beijing. There is a small pink-colored area with rare and high end cars on B3. I went down there to take a look. Starting with a white Rolls-Royce Dawn with a wine red top.
