Here we have a beautiful Hyundai Galloper II Exceed V6 Wagon with black license plates. I met this great car at a small repair shop far outside the eastern section of the Fifth Ring Road in Beijing in the early spring of 2018.

Here we have a strange Volkswagen Bora sedan, seen in Beijing in the summer of 2019. The good Bora had a very racy body kit and gold alloy wheels, and it was fitted with the rare black 京A Beijing license plates.

Here we have a beautiful Honda Civic sedan, seen on a ramp leading to a parking lot in the far east of the capital Beijing in 2018. The good Honda was in perfect shape, covered with rain, painted in a light shade of silver, fitted with the original five-spoke wheels, and with the rare black 京A Beijing license plates.

This is a Toyota Reiz sedan, seen in the rain in Beijing in July 2018. The Toyota was in great shape, painted white, with darkened windows, six-spoke alloy wheels, and black 京A license plates.

Here we have a black Volkswagen Santana GLi sedan with black 京A license plates. I saw this great old Volkswagen in the Chinese capital Beijing in the summer of 2018. It was in good shape, clearly taken care of, with a clean body and the original 7-spoke alloy wheels. It is a time capsule, in a way.

A beautiful Mercedes-Benz C-Class sedan, seen in Beijing in May 2014. The compact German limousine was in great shape, black with darkened windows, and sitting on the original alloy wheels. Sadly, the Mercedes hood ornament was missing. But I didn’t care, because this old Benz had the oldest black license plate I had ever seen:
